Promotion Committee

The promotion committee markets the assets of Seymour's downtown to customers, potential investors, businesses, local citizens, and visitors through image campaigns, events and promotional activities. The promotion committee meets the first Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm at Seymour City Hall.

Hosts Parking Lot Pickers on the 2nd Saturday in April.

Hosts the Lawn, Garden & Patio Show in the Robertson Parking Lot on the 3rd Saturday in May.

With Chamber AgriBusiness Committee, sponsors the Farmers' Market in the Walnut Street parking lot May through October.

Sponsors the Downtown Trick or Treat event the Monday before Halloween each year.

Sponsors the Downtown Seymour Christmas celebration at One Chamber Square, Chestnut Street and St. Louis Avenue the Monday evening after Thanksgiving.

Coordinates an expanded offering at the 4th Saturday Farmers Market.
