Four committees have been established to address the Main Street four point approach. Each committee meets regularly, implements and evaluates projects, creates a committee work plan and presents reports and recommendations to the Board.
The Design committee is charged with enhancing the physical appearance of the Seymour commercial district.
This committee's goal is to create an economically viable downtown Seymour.
Building consensus and cooperation among the many groups and individuals of the Seymour community involved in the revitalization process is the goal of the Organization Committee.
The promotion committee markets the assets of Seymour's downtown to customers, potential investors, businesses, local citizens, and visitors through image campaigns, events and promotional activities.
